Important Updates:
The Summer Ministries Board is in full swing preparing for another great summer of VBS and Camp. As some of you may know Kaylah Calle (Director) and Stephanie Wilson (Camp Admin) will not be returning to camp in 2025. We thank them both for their service and dedication to camp and pray God’s blessings on them as Kaylah prepares to welcome her first child in a few months and Stephanie works towards completing her degree and starting a new chapter! That being said, the board is in the process of hiring a new director and additional counselors. At this time we are still accepting applications, if you or anyone you know might be interested please email resumes to Deaconess Michelle at mschultz@sblschool.com. We do not foresee this being the case, but If we are unable to fill our director and counselor positions we will unfortunately not be unable to hold camp this year. If this is the case families will be notified on March 1st and refunded any registration fees paid.

Who and Where We Are

Little Disciples Summer Day Camp began the summer of 2003 and is a ministry of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

The mission of the camp is to provide a Christian alternative to daycare offering structured activities, Bible Story time, arts and crafts, free play, and field trips. The field trips include opportunities for swimming, hiking, and seeing places of interest.

• Camp is open to all children, ages 5-12 years old
• Camp starts at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 5:15 p.m. Monday to Friday
• Camp start date June 10, 2024
• Camp end date August 2, 2024

As many of you know, after 15 years of faithfully serving as LDSDC Director, Rachel Gillespie has retired from this position. We thank Rachel for her many years of service and wish her well. Please join us in welcoming Kaylah Calle as our new 2024 Camp Director. Kaylah is our 4 year old Preschool teacher at Suburban Bethlehem, and she is excited to be joining our Camp program this year! She will be working alongside another familiar camp face, Stephanie Wilson, who is our new Camp Administrator. Stephanie is eager to jump into her new role and can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces this summer!

Flexible, Affordable, and Safe

Little Disciples Day Camp prides itself on flexibility and affordability. Children can attend the camp all summer or on a weekly basis. The cost is $185 per week. A $5 service fee will be added to all card payments. Cash and checks are also accepted.

There is a one-time registration fee of $35 per child or $70 per family. If a family has more than one child, the remaining child(ren) receive a 10% discount.

Location

Little Disciples Summer Day Camp is located at the corners of Flaugh Road and W. California road, just west of the I 69-US 30 interchange and Sweetwater Sound.
