“The aim and final reason of all

music is none else but the glory of

God and the refreshment of the spirit.”
J. S. Bach

Music holds such a rich heritage in the Christian Church and at Suburban Bethlehem we are blessed to have gifted singers and skillful instrumentalists, who participate in our ministry week after week. We meet to share our talents and have fun doing so! It is our aim to present music that glorifies, edifies, and ministers to the saints who worship with us. And because music is available for everyone, we welcome anyone with a simple enjoyment to get together with others and sing our praises to God.

That said, this is our goal:

“And He put a new song in my mouth,

a song of praise to our God; many will

see and fear, and will trust in the Lord.”
Psalm 40:3

Meet our musical family:

The Bethlehem Ringers

Our handbell choir rings music several times per year, typically during the 8:00a.m. worship services. We rehearse on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m.

Redeemed

Our full band contemporary group, Redeemed, rehearses on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and leads the music at the 10:30 a.m. contemporary service.

The Organ

In July of 2017, we welcomed a new member to our family; the Rodgers Infinity 361 digital organ. It has provided a tremendous improvement in musical sound in our Sanctuary. The resources and sounds it provides are numerous and are used regularly in worship including special offering voluntaries and solos during Holy Communion.
